By creating an account, using a free trial, generating an API key, sending an email through EmailsDone, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use EmailsDone.
1. What EmailsDone is for
EmailsDone is a transactional email service for developers and businesses.
It is designed for application emails such as:
- account verification emails;
- password reset emails;
- magic links;
- login and security notifications;
- billing and subscription emails;
- trial and account status emails;
- product notifications;
- export-ready or report-ready emails;
- other emails triggered by a genuine user action or application event.
EmailsDone is not a bulk marketing platform, newsletter platform, cold outreach tool, lead generation system, or spam service.
2. Who may use EmailsDone
You must be at least 18 years old to use EmailsDone.
If you use EmailsDone on behalf of a company, organisation, client, or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
You are responsible for ensuring that anyone using your account, API keys, projects, sending domains, or environments complies with these Terms.
3. Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account, including emails sent using your API keys, whether or not the activity was authorised by you.
You must tell us promptly if you believe your account or API keys have been compromised.
We may suspend, rotate, revoke, or disable API keys where we reasonably believe there is a security risk, abuse risk, deliverability risk, or breach of these Terms.
4. Sending domains
Where EmailsDone allows you to send from your own domain, you must only add and verify domains that you own or are authorised to use.
You must not attempt to send email from domains you do not control.
You are responsible for maintaining correct DNS records, domain verification, DKIM, SPF, DMARC, MAIL FROM configuration, and any other settings required for reliable and lawful sending.
We may remove, disable, or restrict a sending domain if we believe it is unauthorised, misconfigured, abandoned, harmful, or likely to damage the service or sending reputation.
5. No spam
You must not use EmailsDone to send spam.
You must not use EmailsDone for:
- unsolicited bulk email;
- cold outreach;
- purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, guessed, or third-party email lists;
- marketing campaigns unless we have expressly allowed that use in writing;
- newsletters;
- affiliate promotions;
- lead generation campaigns;
- phishing;
- impersonation;
- scams;
- malware distribution;
- misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent messages;
- emails that hide or misrepresent the sender;
- emails designed to evade spam filters or abuse detection;
- emails that breach applicable email, privacy, consumer protection, or anti-spam laws.
EmailsDone is for transactional application email. If a reasonable recipient would consider your message unsolicited promotional email, you should not send it through EmailsDone.
6. Recipient permission and lawful basis
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to email each recipient.
This includes having any required consent, contractual basis, legitimate interest, or other lawful basis under applicable law.
You are also responsible for complying with laws and regulations that apply to your use of email, including where relevant:
- UK GDPR;
- EU GDPR;
- Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations;
- CAN-SPAM;
- other applicable privacy, electronic communications, consumer protection and anti-spam laws.
EmailsDone provides tools to help send transactional email, but you remain responsible for deciding who you email, why you email them, and what you send.
7. Unsubscribes, suppressions, bounces and complaints
You must respect unsubscribe requests, suppression lists, hard bounces, complaints, and other recipient preferences.
You must not attempt to bypass, disable, avoid, or work around EmailsDone suppression, unsubscribe, bounce, complaint, or abuse-prevention systems.
We may automatically suppress recipients, pause sending, restrict domains, limit accounts, or block messages where we detect bounces, complaints, unsubscribes, suspicious activity, or deliverability risk.
You agree that protecting recipients, sending reputation, infrastructure, and the wider service is a legitimate reason for us to limit or stop sending.
8. Message content
You are responsible for the content of emails sent using EmailsDone.
You must not send content that:
- is unlawful;
- infringes intellectual property rights;
- is defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory;
- contains malware, malicious links, or harmful code;
- is sexually exploitative or abusive;
- promotes illegal goods or services;
- impersonates another person, company, service, or brand;
- misleads recipients about the sender, purpose, or nature of the email;
- attempts to collect passwords, payment details, security codes, or other sensitive information fraudulently.
EmailsDone is template-first. You must not misuse templates to send messages that are misleading, promotional, harmful, or unrelated to the transactional purpose of the template.
9. Acceptable use and service protection
You must not:
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attack the service;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to EmailsDone or another user’s data;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without permission;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service;
- use automated systems in a way that harms the service or other users;
- use EmailsDone to breach another provider’s terms;
- use EmailsDone in a way that damages our infrastructure, reputation, sending providers, or deliverability.
We may apply rate limits, quotas, trust limits, throttling, message review, domain restrictions, account review, or other controls to protect the service.
10. Free trials, free plans and usage limits
EmailsDone may offer free trials, anonymous trial workspaces, free plans, or other limited access.
Free usage may be subject to limits including email volume, retention, sending domains, branding, features, rate limits, and expiry periods.
We may change, pause, withdraw, or end free trials or free plans at any time.
Free access is intended to help users test and evaluate EmailsDone. It must not be abused, resold, used to evade limits, or used to create multiple accounts for the purpose of avoiding payment or restrictions.
11. Paid plans, billing and cancellation
Some parts of EmailsDone require a paid subscription.
Prices, limits, features, billing periods and overage charges are shown on our website, checkout pages, or account screens.
You are responsible for keeping your billing information accurate and up to date.
Unless stated otherwise:
- subscriptions renew automatically;
- charges are billed in advance;
- you may cancel your subscription through your account or by contacting us;
- cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period;
- fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change our prices or plan features. Where a change affects an existing paid subscription, we will try to give reasonable notice before the change takes effect.
12. Third-party services
EmailsDone relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers, including cloud hosting, payment processing, authentication, email delivery, DNS, analytics, monitoring and other operational services.
We are not responsible for failures, delays, outages, filtering, blocking, or delivery issues caused by third-party providers, recipient mail servers, DNS providers, customer configuration, or recipient mailbox behaviour.
Email delivery can be affected by many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee inbox placement, open rates, click rates, delivery speed, or that any particular recipient mailbox will accept or display an email.
13. Data protection and customer data
For personal data contained in recipient details, message metadata, template variables, suppression records and similar data that you submit to EmailsDone for the purpose of sending transactional emails, you will usually be the controller and EmailsDone will usually act as your processor.
The ICO explains that controllers decide the purpose and means of processing, while processors handle personal data on behalf of controllers.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of EmailsDone complies with applicable data protection law, including having a lawful basis for the personal data you send to us.
We will process customer data to provide, secure, monitor, support, improve and maintain EmailsDone, including to:
- send emails;
- process delivery, bounce, complaint, open, click and unsubscribe events;
- provide logs and account history;
- prevent abuse and spam;
- maintain suppression lists;
- troubleshoot issues;
- comply with legal obligations;
- protect the service and other users.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. UK GDPR requires personal data to be processed securely using appropriate technical and organisational measures, and encryption can form part of that security approach.
Where required, a separate Data Processing Addendum may apply. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed Data Processing Addendum, the Data Processing Addendum will apply to the extent of that conflict.
14. Customer content and ownership
You retain ownership of the data, content, template variables, recipient information and other material you submit to EmailsDone.
You grant us the rights needed to process that data and content for the purpose of providing, securing, monitoring and supporting the service.
You confirm that you have all rights, permissions and lawful bases needed to submit that data and content to EmailsDone and to send emails to your recipients.
We do not sell your recipient data.
15. Monitoring and abuse investigation
We may monitor usage, metadata, sending patterns, bounce rates, complaint rates, unsubscribe rates, account behaviour, domain configuration, and other service activity to operate and protect EmailsDone.
Where necessary, we may review message content, template data, recipient data, logs, or account details to investigate abuse, spam, fraud, security incidents, deliverability problems, legal compliance, support requests, or suspected breaches of these Terms.
We aim to limit review to what is reasonably necessary.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, projects, environments, API keys, sending domains, or access to the service immediately if we reasonably believe that:
- you have breached these Terms;
- you are sending spam or unlawful email;
- your use creates a security, legal, deliverability, infrastructure, or reputation risk;
- your account has been compromised;
- your payment fails;
- you are attempting to evade limits or restrictions;
- continued access could harm EmailsDone, recipients, providers, or other users.
For serious abuse, spam, fraud, phishing, impersonation, or security incidents, we may suspend access without notice.
You may stop using EmailsDone at any time. You may also request account deletion, subject to any data we need to retain for legal, security, billing, suppression, abuse prevention, or legitimate operational reasons.
17. Intellectual property
EmailsDone, including our software, templates, website, branding, documentation, designs, code, logos, text and service features, belongs to Mikeapple Solutions Limited or its licensors.
You may use EmailsDone only as permitted by these Terms.
You must not copy, modify, distribute, resell, rebrand, or create derivative services from EmailsDone unless we have expressly allowed it in writing.
18. Feedback
If you give us feedback, ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment to you.
We appreciate feedback, but you should not send us anything confidential unless we have agreed to receive it confidentially.
19. Service availability
EmailsDone is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that EmailsDone will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
We may modify, suspend, withdraw, replace, or discontinue parts of the service.
We may perform maintenance, updates, migrations, or emergency fixes that affect availability.
20. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, representations, conditions and implied terms relating to EmailsDone, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, deliverability, or error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
21. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mikeapple Solutions Limited will not be liable for:
- indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss;
- loss of profit;
- loss of revenue;
- loss of business;
- loss of goodwill;
- loss of data;
- loss caused by email delivery failure, delay, filtering, blocking, bounce, complaint, domain misconfiguration, or third-party provider failure;
- loss caused by unauthorised use of your account or API keys where you failed to keep them secure.
For paid users, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to EmailsDone in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
For free trial, free plan, or unpaid users, our total liability will not exceed £100.
22. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mikeapple Solutions Limited from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from:
- your use of EmailsDone;
- emails sent through your account;
- your recipient data or message content;
- your breach of these Terms;
- your breach of applicable law;
- spam, abuse, complaints, or claims caused by your sending activity;
- your failure to obtain permission or a lawful basis to email recipients.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make material changes, we will try to provide reasonable notice, for example by posting an update on our website or inside the application.
Your continued use of EmailsDone after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using EmailsDone.
24. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the service, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
